The peace corridor(Kartarpur corridor)
On Nov 9, Prime Minister Imran Khan ab ovo the Kartarpur corridor lubricate for Sikhs from India to visit Pakistan at Kartarpur place where Baba Guru Nanak--founder of Sikh and spend his last days here. PM of Pakistan allow Sikhs to visit without a visa, its a step toward peace while showing the world that we are a peace-loving nation and want peace between two nuclear-armed neighbors. Indians Sikhs first traveled Lahore then they want to Kartarpur but a believer will be saved from traveling ling distances to visit Kartarpur. The four-kilometer passage links Narrowal District in Pakistan to Dera Baba Guru Nanak in Gurdaspur in India.
The first step is taken from Pakistan to invite the former prime minister of India. Later former Indian prime minister Vajpayee's 1999 visit Lahore, the project could not materialize because of a strained relationship between two nations. Later this project has been completed in 11 months with the participation of both countries as that this project is called the corridor of peace. Now PM Imran khan has waived the $20 for those coming to Kartarpur from India at the 550th anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
Here is another step which is taken for Pakistan to improve International importance. The step is that he also announced to give relaxation to pilgrims coming from India: they only need a valid national identity card and will not have to register 10 days in advance.
Former Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh, Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Amrinder Singh and Congress leader Navjot Sidhu came were also present in the opening ceremony. As that this corridor is the sign of making peace and will likely work as a thaw between the Pakistan-India relationship but Modi's government makes annex the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir which is entirely against the wishes of both countries.
It is however unfortunate that India court decision allows to build a temple in the place of diminished Babri Mosque on the day of the Kartarpur event. The Indian SC has ordered that Muslims have a separate country to build their Mosque. The news spread around in these days to build Temple for the Hindus whose living in Pakistan but after the decision of Babri Mosque Pakistan's court deter it. Now Pakistan has rightly described the court verdict as a political decision.
